They are so stunning to look at you would think they were created by a major manufacturer, but these fairy mason jars are easy peasy to make with just a few supplies.

Listed below are the supplies you will need to create the fairy lantern pictured here (~ all underlined colored links are clickable to ease your shopping effort).

Just remember though, fairies don't like to be caged up for too long so make sure you open up the jar and let them out once in a while, lol!

How To Make a Fairy Lantern

The supplies needed are as follows:

Mason jars (or a glass candle holder, which you can also buy at Dollar Tree)

You can get them at a discounted rate if you buy in bulk

- Fairy laser cut outs which can be purchased in three different sizes at Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts

White school glue

Paint brush

White tissue paper

This book contains more than 28 fairy crafts

Glitterwhat fairy house would be complete without it?

Tea lights (battery operated), or battery powered LED lights (don't use real candles of course)

- I think these floral embellishments would be perfect, and twine to tie around the top of  a mason jar

Hot glue and hot glue gun

Here is the tutorial:

I think these lanterns would make a great gift for people who love fairies.  They would look great at an outside summer party for a decorative effect.

And just as a side thought, I think they are easy enough for little girls to make as a birthday party craft.   I can see the wheels spinning in your head.  I can't wait to make mine.
