Kids love painting on rocks because they simply can't make a mistake, if they don't like what they paint on a rock, you can simply wash it off and start over.
It's a fun way to spend a summer afternoon, or a rainy day for that matter. Go rock hunting on a nice day, purchase some paints, and set up a little table in your yard, they will have so much fun.
You can paint one, too... the sky is the limit to what can be painted on a rock. Just look at these happy faces...
To decide what to paint on your rock, look at the shape. Round or oval rocks would make adorable ladybugs or minions...
